UC Davis Department of Viticulture and Enology, as an outreach service to the wine industry, has, over several years, created a library of summaries of salient wine research papers.  The articles to be summarized are chosen by a committee of academics and technical staff on the basis of their practical value and ease of explanantion.  In effect, these reviews distill the important findings of each article into laymen's terms, highlighting the take-home messages.
